Teach ‘n Go suits madrasas with group classes, parent apps and Arabic, according to its public pages as of 21 October 2026. Halqora suits online academies of one-to-one classes needing a built-in classroom, per-currency billing, payment matching and teacher pay tied to class outcomes.
Halqora is our product. We’ve tried to keep this comparison fair: competitor details come from their public pages, checked on the date shown. Tell us if anything is out of date at support@halqora.com.
Halqora vs Teach ‘n Go: the short answer
Teach ‘n Go is the stronger starting point when your school runs group lessons, needs an Arabic interface or wants parents to use an app. Those are practical advantages. A classroom designed around individual online lessons does not replace the administration a group-based school needs.
Halqora is management software for online academies and tutoring businesses from Talt AI; Murouj Academy runs on it. Halqora connects the recurring class, recorded outcome, family invoice and teacher pay. The fit is specific: one teacher and one student, with siblings able to share a family invoice.
Ask each vendor which students count toward your subscription before comparing your roster with a price band. Teach ‘n Go uses “live students”; Halqora uses “active students.” Do not assume those labels handle every roster status identically.
Comparison checked 21 October 2026
The comparison above uses Teach ‘n Go’s supplied public pricing, Islamic school, payment and homepage information. The rows distinguish advertised features from features we could not find. A missing public description is a reason to ask for a demonstration, rather than proof that the product cannot do the job.
Teach ‘n Go’s payment management page says schools can connect Stripe or PayPal for online payments, as of 21 October 2026. That supports a payment-provider comparison. The supplied information does not establish every integration or the details of payment reconciliation.
We could not find per-student multi-currency billing on that payment page as of 21 October 2026. We could not find outcome-based teacher payroll rules on Teach ‘n Go’s homepage as of 21 October 2026. Ask about those exact workflows if they affect your decision.
Teach ‘n Go also advertises attendance reports by class, student and period on its homepage as of 21 October 2026. Halqora’s reliability view uses recorded outcomes to show cancellations, no-shows and teacher lateness. Halqora does not yet have an attendance report screen derived from classroom joins and departures.
In-person group school vs online one-to-one academy
Teach ‘n Go’s Islamic school page describes attendance, invoices, receipts, fee tracking and parent and learner access as of 21 October 2026. That combination suits a school managing classes and fee collection. If your staff need a group register, begin the evaluation with that register and follow the process through to the parent’s invoice.
Halqora’s software for online academies starts from an individual student’s recurring lesson. Scheduling uses scheduling rules in each IANA time zone. Teachers record completed classes with a report, student no-shows or student cancellations. Admins resolve other outcomes and record late minutes, wait minutes and emergency exceptions.
For academies that teach Quran, the synced Mushaf viewer keeps the teacher’s page, selection and view together with the student’s view. The Madinah Mushaf has 604 pages and tajweed coloring. Quran text and page fonts are credited to Quran Foundation (Quran.com); English translation credits include Rowwad Translation Center · QuranEnc.com and Pickthall.
Halqora also includes video, a shared whiteboard and a PDF library. Student screen sharing needs the teacher’s permission. Classroom chat stays closed until an admin opens it. We could not find a built-in video classroom or Quran viewer on Teach ‘n Go’s Islamic school page as of 21 October 2026.
Teacher reports stay internal. Each completed class needs a rating and written feedback, and payroll for the period waits until reports are in. Families do not see those reports through the class link or invoice page.
Cost at 100 students
According to Teach ‘n Go’s pricing page, the monthly prices below apply as of 21 October 2026. Teach ‘n Go lists EUR and USD separately; these are published prices, not a currency conversion. Halqora’s prices are also stated as of 21 October 2026.
| Plan | Student basis (students) | Monthly price (EUR) | Monthly price (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teach ‘n Go Core | Up to 100 live | 69 | 79 |
| Teach ‘n Go Pro | 100 live | 99 | 109 |
| Halqora Academy | 100 active | Not quoted | 250 |
Example: 100 active students x USD 2.50 per active student per month = USD 250 per month on Halqora Academy. Teach ‘n Go is far cheaper at this size. Do not choose Halqora expecting a lower subscription bill.
Halqora’s pricing plans are Starter at USD 39/mo for up to 25 active students; Academy at USD 2.50 per active student per month, with a USD 99 minimum; and Scale with custom pricing for 300+ students. Annual billing gives 2 months free. Halqora offers a 14-day pilot, free onboarding and data import.
Teach ‘n Go’s pricing page also advertises 2 months free with annual billing, a 14-day trial without a card, a 30-day money-back offer and an optional EUR 500 onboarding pack as of 21 October 2026. Include onboarding in your decision if you want help moving existing records.
The higher Halqora subscription needs to earn its place through the work your academy actually does. Compare how you teach online, review outcomes, prepare invoices and calculate pay. A lower software bill remains a real advantage when those tasks are already handled well elsewhere.
Parent apps vs no-login links
Teach ‘n Go advertises mobile apps for staff, teachers, students and parents, plus a parent and learner portal, on its Islamic school page as of 21 October 2026. If your families expect an app, Teach ‘n Go meets that preference more directly. Test the parent experience with your own administrative tasks.
Halqora families use a permanent private class link that shows the next class. Each invoice has a private page and PDF without a login. Class and invoice links do not expire. An admin can replace a link, which stops the old link working.
The choice between a parent portal and no-login links affects support as well as access. Show a parent how to find the next lesson and check the invoice balance. Choose the approach your families can use reliably rather than assuming an app or a link is preferable for everyone.
Halqora billing runs create draft invoices. An admin reviews and sends them. Unpaid invoices receive automatic email reminders; invoice due days, reminder timing and email wording can be changed. Those payment emails are separate from class access.
Choose Teach ‘n Go if…
Choose Teach ‘n Go if your school, madrasa or weekend school teaches groups, particularly in person or in a hybrid format. The advertised Islamic school administration is closer to that operating model. Halqora schedules, bills and calculates teacher pay for one-to-one classes.
Choose Teach ‘n Go if Arabic access matters to your staff. Teach ‘n Go advertises 24 interface languages, including Arabic, as of 21 October 2026. Halqora’s administration interface is English today.
Choose Teach ‘n Go if parent apps or subscription cost carry the most weight. At 100 students, the price difference is substantial. Ask the vendor to demonstrate your payment and reporting requirements before paying for extra software to cover an assumed gap.
Choose Halqora if…
Choose Halqora if individual online lessons drive your administration. Each student has one billing currency, and invoices are never converted. Mercury sync is USD only. Incoming Wise (wise.com) payments are matched to invoices; Halqora does not create Wise payments. Unclear matches go to an admin queue.
Choose Halqora if fixed outcome rules match your pay policy. Rules such as a 2-minute teacher lateness grace period and a flat 5% deduction for 3 to 5 minutes late are built in. Beyond 5 minutes, pay loses one minute’s value for each minute late, with a floor of zero.
For a student no-show, full teacher pay requires waiting at least half the class. Admins record the waiting time. Teacher pay is calculated per class from an hourly rate without currency conversion. Halqora calculates pay; Halqora does not transfer money to teachers.
Before switching, check your student roster, family billing groups, currencies, schedules and teacher rates. Review a draft invoice and a payroll period using your actual outcomes. The decision should rest on whether those records produce the charges and pay your academy expects.
