Choose Clasify for EGP-priced plans, white-label branding and built-in video, and academy-protection tools, as of 21 October 2026. Choose Halqora for managing an academy of one-to-one online classes, with per-student currency billing, payment sync, fixed teacher-pay rules, and a built-in classroom.
Halqora is our product. We’ve tried to keep this comparison fair: competitor details come from their public pages, checked on the date shown. Tell us if anything is out of date at support@halqora.com.
Halqora vs Clasify: the short answer
Clasify makes sense when your purchase starts with branding, an EGP subscription, and a stated classroom capacity. Halqora makes sense when your purchase starts with family invoices, matching incoming payments, and calculating teacher pay from recorded class outcomes.
Halqora is management software for online academies and tutoring businesses. Halqora schedules, bills, and calculates pay for one-to-one classes. Siblings can share a family invoice, but each sibling has a separate class.
Your decision should follow the work your academy actually does. A branded classroom matters if families judge the academy through that experience. Payment matching matters if your administrator spends time identifying transfers and updating balances. Neither priority makes the other product a poor choice.
Comparison findings checked 21 October 2026
The comparison above separates stated features from unknown details. An unknown entry means the supplied public-page research does not establish the answer. An unknown entry does not prove that Clasify cannot do the job.
| Decision to check | Public evidence as of 21 October 2026 | What to ask Clasify |
|---|---|---|
| Classroom tools beyond video | Video is described; whiteboard research conflicts | Demonstrate whiteboard and screen sharing |
| Family tuition collection | Subscription checkout uses Paymob; tuition providers remain unconfirmed | Show a family invoice and its payment route |
| Family access | Browser joining is described; login requirements remain unconfirmed | Show the parent’s joining steps |
For classroom tools, the supplied research differs between the homepage and the Clasify page for Quran academies. Whiteboard and screen-sharing details need a check before publishing a firm feature claim. Ask for a live demonstration rather than treating homepage silence as a missing feature.
Clasify also describes attendance, completion rates, and teacher and class performance on its analytics page, checked 21 October 2026. Halqora shows teacher and student reliability rates from recorded outcomes. Compare the underlying records before comparing dashboard labels.
Pricing: EGP capacity tiers vs USD per student
According to Clasify’s pricing page, as of 21 October 2026, plans are monthly, with all features on every plan. Capacity changes across tiers. Halqora’s pricing, as of 21 October 2026, uses active-student limits or active-student billing, depending on the plan.
| Product and plan | Monthly price as of 21 October 2026 | Student allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Clasify Starter | EGP 1,999 | 50 students |
| Clasify Basic | EGP 2,999 | 100 students |
| Clasify Growth | EGP 3,999 | 200 students |
| Clasify Business | EGP 4,999 | 500 students |
| Clasify Enterprise | Custom | Confirm with Clasify |
| Halqora Starter | USD 39 | Up to 25 active students |
| Halqora Academy | USD 2.50 per active student; USD 99 minimum | Active-student billing |
| Halqora Scale | Custom | 300+ students |
Clasify’s Starter allowance also lists 10 teachers, 5 concurrent meetings, 400 meeting hours, and 10 GB of storage. Student capacity alone is not enough to assess that plan. Check whether your timetable fits the concurrent-meeting allowance and whether your expected teaching fits the meeting-hour allowance.
Halqora offers annual billing with 2 months free, a 14-day pilot, and free onboarding and data import. Clasify lists no trial and no refunds, with card payments through Paymob. These are different ways to commit to a purchase; prepare your evaluation questions before paying.
Keep EGP and USD prices in their stated currencies. No exchange-rate comparison is included. Also separate the academy’s software bill from family tuition: paying Clasify through Paymob does not establish how your families can pay you.
Classroom: video room vs teaching classroom
Clasify describes built-in HD video and audio in a WebRTC room opened in one click. Halqora’s classroom combines video with a shared Excalidraw whiteboard, PDF page sync and a synced Madinah Mushaf viewer with tajweed coloring. Teachers can share their screen; students need the teacher’s permission to share.
In the Mushaf viewer, Halqora synchronizes the teacher’s page and selection so the student can follow the same passage. Quran text and page fonts come from Quran Foundation (Quran.com). English translation credits include Rowwad Translation Center · QuranEnc.com; Pickthall is also available. Translation support is English only.
We could not find a Mushaf viewer on Clasify’s public homepage as of 21 October 2026. That finding is narrower than saying Clasify has no Quran teaching tools. Ask Clasify to show how a teacher directs a student to the same passage during a lesson.
Run the same lesson task in each demonstration. Move between passages, explain a correction, open a teaching PDF, and return to the lesson. Judge whether the teacher and student can follow each other without repeated instructions about which page to open.
Billing families and paying teachers
Halqora gives each student a billing currency. Invoices stay in that currency; Halqora does not convert invoices. Dashboard USD totals are approximate. Siblings can share a family invoice when their billing setup is compatible, but a family account mixing currencies needs admin attention.
Halqora’s monthly billing runs create draft invoices for prepaid or postpaid billing. An admin reviews and sends the drafts. Unpaid invoices receive automatic email reminders. Invoice due days, the reminder schedule, and email wording can be changed; class and payroll rules remain fixed.
PayPal and Stripe payments are read back through sync. Mercury sync is USD only. Wise (wise.com) incoming payments are matched, never created, by Halqora. Unclear matches go to an admin queue. A reference, amount, or name that cannot identify an invoice reliably needs a person to resolve it.
We could not find family tuition payment providers or teacher payroll rules on Clasify’s public homepage as of 21 October 2026. Ask Clasify to show those workflows directly. For an Egypt-based academy, the guide to receiving payments as an academy in Egypt addresses a separate question from paying for software.
Teachers record completed classes with reports, student no-shows, and student cancellations. Admins resolve other outcomes and record late minutes, wait minutes, and emergency exceptions. Each completed class needs a rating and written feedback; payroll for the period waits until reports are in.
Halqora calculates pay per class from an hourly rate, with no currency conversion. Fixed outcome rules include a 2-minute lateness grace period and a flat 5% deduction at 3 to 5 minutes late. When lateness exceeds 5 minutes, the teacher loses pay for every minute late from the scheduled start, with pay floored at zero. A student no-show pays in full after the teacher waits at least half the class. Halqora does not transfer teacher pay.
Choose Clasify if…
Choose Clasify if paying the subscription in EGP through Paymob suits your academy. Clasify is also the clearer candidate when your priority is white-label branding and your own domain from the entry plan, according to its public pages as of 21 October 2026.
Clasify deserves a closer look if teachers taking students elsewhere is a concern. Clasify publishes a dedicated academy-protection feature. Ask which actions the feature controls and what happens in an actual dispute; a feature name does not establish a guaranteed outcome.
Choose Clasify if you prefer a fixed monthly capacity tier with all features included. Review students, teachers, simultaneous meetings, and meeting hours together. Ask Clasify to demonstrate any billing or classroom detail that remains unknown in this comparison before making your commitment.
Choose Halqora if…
Choose Halqora if your academy teaches one-to-one live classes and needs billing, payment matching, and teacher-pay calculations around those classes. If you run a Quran academy, Halqora for Quran academies describes that fit. The lack of group support should be part of your decision from the start.
Choose Halqora if family access should use private links without accounts. Each student has a permanent class link showing the next class. Families also receive a private invoice page and PDF without logging in. Links do not expire; replacing a link stops the old link from working.
Before switching, compare your existing roster, student currencies, family billing arrangements, schedules, and teacher hourly rates with Halqora’s setup. Check how your current policies differ from Halqora’s fixed outcome rules. Free data import does not remove the need to agree on those differences before your administrator sends invoices or prepares payroll.
Use the pilot to follow real work from a recorded outcome through an invoice draft and a teacher-pay preview. The useful result is a workflow your administrator understands, including the records that need review before money is requested or pay is approved.
